Topic: The Art of Communication
An overview of business communication, how good communication tools can be used to help promote the goals of your business and ultimately to increase profits. We will also take a more in-depth look at some specific communication tools, and participants will get to practice some communication techniques which they can then apply to their own business, such as developing a content calendar, writing a bio and more.
PRESENTER: SHARON FAY
Sharon has worked in the communications industry for more than 20 years, initially in a busy PR consultancy and then as the Group PR manager at Massdiscounters (Game and DionWired), and then later running her own PR consultancy, which she has done for the past 14 or so years. She has handled internal and external (media, suppliers, customers) communications campaigns for clients across a variety of industries. Sharon holds a joint Honours Degree from Rhodes University (Journalism & PR and Linguistics/English Language).
