7 Eagle Rock
I adore reading books…especially to my little ones, as you get to cuddle close, sit still (or so we hope!) and enjoy an adventure together. I have always been creative and after reading daily to my kids for many years, discovered many books are complicated or don’t hold the interest of my little ones. I have always loved nature and am a passionate South African so decided to start writing and illustrating books that highlight our gorgeous local animals, have a strong moral and can be read over and over again.
There are 3 books out at present and are all available to order directly from me @R135 each:
"The Elephant’s Itchy Toe" – The 'Go-Away Bird' attempts to rescue á stubborn Elephant from a horrible itch…however this iconic South African bird is overlooked due to her small size.
"The Dancing Dung Beetle" - Rosie the dung beetle, just loved to dance and realizes that doing what you love and following your heart are much more important that what her fellow creatures say about her.
"More than a ROAR!" - iLembe the Leopard adopts an abandoned cheetah cub, and shows him that he is more than he assumes. He cannot roar like his new family – but he has so many other amazing talents. A heart-warming story celebrating mothers and self-acceptance.

It is believed that every child can be helped to achieve with continuous motivation and a healthy boost of his or her self confidence. Every child is tested free of charge to see exactly where his or her problems lie. The children who enroll are placed on a programme designed at a level where they are able to cope. The qualified teacher leads them through a graded programme step by step through more complex work until they have reached the level of their present grade. The Kip McGrath system helps the child at the root of the problem and is founded on individualised attention and personal care. The programme brings peace of mind to many concerned parents. Parents who bring their children to the Kip McGrath Education Centres are grateful to have found someone who can help correct their child’s problems.
