Have been with Accumin for 2 years. Prior to that I was the Financial Manager at Shepstone and Wylie for 6 years and worked as the Admin Finance Manager at the Shoprite Distribution Centre in Durban for 2 years.

Describe what your company does in 2 sentences.
Our business has two main administration solutions: Accounting services for small to medium businesses, including taxation services, and property administration for residential and commercial properties.

What is the first thing you do every morning?
Hug my son

What is the best business advice you ever received?
If you don’t have the answer – say so. Find the answer and let the person know – they will respect you more than trying to bluff your way through.

If you were a crayon, what colour would you be and why?
Pink – it makes me smile

What is your favourite place on Earth and why?
Having a meal and glass of wine on our balcony at home – great view, great company – everything I need in the world.

Where do you see yourself in five year’s time?
Same house and same job – with maybe a few more annual holidays. Am very happy in my life choices and hope to be able to grow our business and staff to be more successful in Durban and KZN.

Tell us one random thing that few people know about you.
I’ve swum from Robben Island to Blouberg in a Speedo, cap and goggles!
