| Breast Cancer Awareness MonthBeverley Ann and Val will be talking on their journey, both having had very different types of breast cancer. What they have learnt through it and how they have got back on track, both on the home front and at work. Dieudonne will talk with them on the role that physiotherapy plays on the road to recovery. About Bev Beverley-Ann Fink is one of the founder members of KZNWIB. Her property career started in 1988 when she was asked to join Williams Palmer & Ass. She then went onto RMBT Properties that became Marriott Property Services. In 2003 joined Broll KZN to set up the Commercial and Industrial Division and in 2009 took over the Broll Retail Division. She is passionate about quilting and was chairperson for the National Quilt Festival at the ICC in 2004. Loves reading, theatre and anything to do with people.
About Val Val Logan-Davis, a senior consultant, has been with Quattro (a group of Financial Advisors) for the past 5 years. Recently married to Les, has 2 daughters, Lynsey and Bronwyn, and 2 step children, Stephen and Keri. Val was in the teaching profession for many years, initially teaching Business Economics at high school level, then managing a teacher training college for under-qualified teachers in Mpumalanga and finally overseeing projects (funded by overseas funders) to upgrade teachers qualifications and district managers skills at municipalities in Northern KZN. She has many passions, but presently is keen to just ride her mountain bike.
About Donnee Originally trained at Wits university in 1990, followed by 10 years in London working in a private hospital specialising in the treatment of breast cancer.Donnee completed her Masters degree in London at UCL. On her return to Durban, there was little support for oncology and lymphoedema sufferers, she went back overseas to the UK and latterly to the USA for specialised training in this field. Donnee has been running a lymphoedema assessment and treatment clinic for 5 yeras. She is passionate about the role of Physiotherapy in oncology and looking at ways to disseminate awareness and self help strategies for women in the private and public sector.

Here are their top ten wish list items - if you are able to bring any of these items to the meeting it would be greatly appreciated. 1. Reams of office paper 2. Hand towel paper rolls and hand soap 6. Tea, coffee, sugar 7. Peanut butter to be distributed to theirHIV/AIDS beneficiaries for rich protein 8. Eggs to be distributed to their HIV/AIDS beneficiaries for rich protein 9.
