| Durban - the warmest place to be!Participants are invited to wear a soccer shirt to this month’s soccer-themed meeting. Greg Wallis will speak about the Moses Mabhida Stadium, and Senta Duffield, professional belly dancer, will teach the Diski Dance. Join Greg Wallis who will be speaking on the surrounding areas of the Moses Mabidha Stadium, all the features, including selling Durban to the world, income deriving projects, the silhouette on the Durban skyline, the competitions built around the World Cup and the teams taking part. About Greg Wallis Greg Wallis has been in the fashion industry for over 30 years. He is the Chairman of the Durban Fashion Council. He has travelled extensively sourcing trends and ready made fabrics. He was the Creative Director of Wrangler Jeans & Lee Jeans for many years. Now he travels the world sourcing trends and then selling his collections to Edgars, Truworths, Miladys, the Hub and Ideal's. He has judged many, many fashion shows including the showcase at the Durban July for 15 years. He lectures at the various institutions of learning like the DUT and SA Institute of Style. He has judged the Vukni Fashion Awards in Pretoria for many years and is actively involved with Ifa Lethu. It is for this work that he has been nominated as mentor of the year by Anglo American, Business Day and Barloworld, in 2007/2008,2008/2009, and now 2009/2010 !
Greg was approached to become an ambassador to the dream team for Moses Mabhida together with 400 other Durbanites, which includes the legal profession, springbok soccer and rugby players, ambassadors and the business fraternity. He has been promoting the stadium SA and internationally ever since and is extremely proud of it.
